Funktioniert hinten und vorne nicht. Geladen und nach 2 Std völlig genervt wieder gelöscht. Braucht kein Mensch - kommt vielleicht nochmal auf den Markt, wenn Ihr Ahnung von der Technik habt.

Seit dem letzten Update, stürzt nur ab. Gelöscht...

Und sogar in der v2.3 ist die App nicht funktionstüchtig. Ein Klick auf eine neue Nachricht und sofort stürzt der Scheiss ab. Das ist echt ein schlechter Witz!! So ist es wirklich kein Wunder, dass sich Gaydar nicht neben der blauen Konkurrenz positionieren kann.

Zu wenig online User und umständliche Bedienung der App. !!!!

Finde Nearox wesentlich besser und viel günstiger.

Kann echt nur abraten ... Mitgliedschaft gekauft nix funktioniert und an Hilfe ist nicht zu denken... Vielen Dank für nix ... Normalerweise nicht mal 1 Stern wert aber null geht ja leider nicht...

Wenn man kein Abo bezahlt, dann werden die Möglichkeiten nach und nach stark eingeschränkt. Ältere Nachrichten kann man nicht mehr sehen, man kann nicht alle Bilder in den Profilen sehen und neuerding lassen sich keine Profile mehr öffnen, sondern man erhält die Aufforderung zu zahlen. Das handhaben andere Apps besser. Deshalb: ab in die Tonne damit!

Wäre nicht schlecht, wenn man nicht zum Profilaufrufen stänfig zum Zahlen aufgefordert würde. Sorry, absoluter Mist !!!

Es gibt ein paar Dinge die muss jede App drauf haben, wie z.B. ein kostenloser Chatverlauf der möglichst lokal auf dem Smartphone gespeichert wird. Gaydar fehlt es schon hieran und für so einen populären Namen wie Gaydar erwartet man, dass sie eine top Bedienung haben. Ich kann die App nicht empfehlen da sie schon an den kostenlosen Basisfunktionen scheitert, da zu eingeschränkt, und die Bedienung und Menüs einfach nur lieblos, einfallslos und hässlich sind, aber wen wundert es bei der komplizierten Desktopseite, bei der ebenfalls so gar nichts Spaß macht.

Ohne Mitgliedschaft kaum Funktionen und einmal gezahlt wird in der App nur das Ablaufdatum und kein Abo angezeigt ... da ist die unerwünschte Verlängerung dank "In-App-Kauf" schon quasi vorprogrammiert (im wahrsten Sinn). Viel Geld für wenig Leistung.

Worthless customer service! I’ve reported this problem numerous times over several months. NO REPLY FROM GAYDAR! EVER! NO STARS!

The app logs my account out Everytime and whrm I try login in it says incorrect password or username

Paid a 1 time fee to join & before reading reviews! never again! in my area? the total profiles were maximum of 7 & all 7 hadn’t been on the site as i now know why! I feel violated although i should have read the reviews! Virginia beach Va USA HAS TONS OF GAYS but none are here. Don’t i repeat don’t waste your time! recon is from uk & i have lots of more options. deleted after i end this. i paid yesterday & they can have it. i’m done ! Professional companies would offer my 10 bucks back but i expect the same as i got from the hours it took to register & wait 4 a reply confirmation.

Too much trouble the first month of my membership, this morning it won't even let me browse. Partial Refund would be nice.

Very buggy. Few users. Free version is barely usable. UI not intuitive. Advice to developers: give away premium version until you have enough users. Focus on providing a stable product with an intuitive UI. Example: unread message count was -1 ???

This app has never been very good. But now it’s much worse. Clunky, featureless, and worthless pretty much sum it up.

I really wish I could get my money back. I wasted it subscribing to this app because there is no one on it. Don’t waste your time and money like I did.

This app requires you to enter your phone number to make sure "you're human". There are better ways to verify someone's personhood. Moving along. . .

This new update is useless. It will not allow me to sign in after initially allowing so. When I could sign in close by friends were supposedly living thousands of miles away. Pictures disappear constantly.

I've been using Gaydar for many years, started back before smart phones. Most of my already approved profile photos disappeared. ALL of my favorites disappeared E-mail to confirm messaging service never came, so I can't access message history or send/receive any messages No active profiles appear for browsing Terrible "update"

This is a disgrace of an app. I cannot express without swearing how AWFUL this app is. Forced to update without notice and now it's got so many restrictions that unless you pay it's unusable. I'm viewing people who have not been online in over 3 months and unless I pay I'm stuck looking at them. This is just awful - view 20 profiles on a list- want to see more? Pay up. Use filters? If the filter doesn't include somebody in the first 20, pay up. Every single uploaded pic is being rejected-- I took a pic of my floor and apparently that wasn't approved !! Grindr is bad - but OMG - this thing is beyond a joke. And developers stop telling me it's new and improved-- you provide updates so you clear bad reviews on App Store. We know what ur doing douches. Despite claiming support for ios 6.1 and above- it does not even launch- AVOID. Gaydar tickets suggest i go buy a new phone. Dont advertise your app as working with an ios if u havnt tested it. Following are more complaints of a lot of updates- Another update and new problems on top of old ones. It still takes ages to load (an edited) profile of anyone. And now push notifications keeps sending me notifications of messages I received days ago and have read. This app is coming very close to becoming unusable and deleted. Previous review; ur main site is what every other dating websites tries to emulate-it is perfect- base the app on that- just dilute it for the device- but don't go changing it beyond recognition--this is not just a bad app - it is an embarrassment to ur rightly coveted heritage. -- guys learn from the market leaders-- grindr - qrusher-- a serious rethink of the general layout is needed-- don't just start adding more things in and fixing bugs- reassess it from the ground up- u only get one chance at this if we don't like it we won't use it- that costs u

Very limited and they hook you in and then when you connect with someone you find your membership limited by not being able to message further unless you pay. Not a very inviting site.

Terrible app. Better off using Grindr, Scruff or Hornet. Gaydar has really missed their opportunity.

Profile removed for no reason (in fact, I was just finished signing in). Can't find the customer support either.

I would NOT recommend this app to anyone who does not intend on purchasing a membership. Otherwise, be prepared to have a very limited account, and to get SPAMMED by the app, Each and Every time that you view a profile. This is the least friendly app that I have ever encountered. There is little wonder why this app has fallen way behind in use by gay men, compared to other apps, such as Grindr and Jack'd.

Have had some success in different parts of the world; but if one moves around, the app can't keep up. I've been in the states for six months, and guys in the uae are still seeing me as local...which means that guys where I am think I'm 8000 miles away. Regular...meaning immediate...updates would bring this app up to standard.

Don't bother. Took time to download app and setup account. I live in one of the largest metro areas and yet there was only a handful of local men. Distance feature was a joke. Then within 24 hours they canceled my account for no reason. I barely used it because there were no local men. Don't bother. Poor customer service, sub par App, only a few subscribers. Don't bother.

Bought the upgraded subscription and app will not let me use the membership services that I've payed for. After emailing the support team several times I still have not got a response This app is a rip off

I don't understand what's up with this app. I've made two account because both times they stopped working about an hour or so after verifying my email address. My emails are connected to accounts still but I can't log into them. I've contacted support but nobody replied.

Second most boring non interactive app ever.

Only problem that I can see is it would be nice to see on the mobile app who you have already messaged and also clump together the conversations all in one section so you can view the entire conversation with that person.

Gaydar has been a strong contender especially where it's reached enough users as in England. But it can be buggy. Now it incessantly opens ads and goes to the App Store without the user touching anything. The screens roll up in the middle of use, one after another, so that the app is useless.

Don't bother trying to text ... the app will crash before you get a chance to send any message. Good one guys - this latest upgrade is SO BUGGY that it is hands down the flakiest app on my device. Good way to repulse or drive-away customers! Er ... o wait, is that what you were wanting to do?

Earlier iterations of the app seemed to work much better than the current one. Under iOS 8.2, app does not allow one to use dictation mode, and when you are typing a message to a recipient, if that person should start typing A response at the same time it cuts off and interrupts your typing - permanently losing what you had writ. Please check these issues on the app and update accordingly. Before this version I actually enjoyed the app quite a bit more.

Chat is stuck for the last 3 versions says I have a chat but there is none, it's empty. No one is ever on here.

There is always a 1on the app icon for my home screen and on the mail icon within the app. THERE IS NO MAIL. Very annoying that the icons are always telling me there is something that is not. I deleted app because I am sick and tired of checking app for mail because the app can't refresh its icon.

The app doesn't always show messages on the icon. Very slow in loading.

Apps are only as good as there subscribers, and this list is fair. There is one glaring pain in the neck with this one though. If you're at the end of a thoughtful, long response to someone, but haven't hit send yet, and someone sends you a message, the screen will shift to that person or the general chat window, and will have instantly erased the message you were about to send.

Kept hitting me with your must sign up stuff so it was a little annoying and half of the users aren't even active. I was bummed when all te guys in my area were old men but besides that the app if fine.

It does give you quick access to seeing photos, but I've noticed it doesn't notify me of all my messages, like winks and non message updates. Thats bout it. Otherwise it's totally useful for quickly checking it out, but is limited in terms of the websites superior usability

The app's messaging performance and GPS usage are poor and unreliable. The selection of guys on here is rather terrible and downright sketchy. There needs to be some form of identity verification. There is no excuse for allowing catfish on any dating app or site unless you're a fishery. FIX THIS APP.

The app is like any other app with the exception of the fact that this app crashes eveytime I attempt to make an update my profile. Also it would be nice to be able to delete photos that were uplaoded in error

It's not about that the Grindr is better than this app, but at least Gaydar is something different.

As a paying subscriber, I have to uninstall this app a few times.

Says my email is already registered and when I go to forgotten details, it's says can't find email address, guess I just won't even use this app again.

This app popped up as a suggested app on Facebook and I had though "oh what the hell, why not," so I downloaded it. I didn't even have my account for 24 hours and it got deleted because they thought I was using my account for commercial purposes, spamming, or I made a second account. Well first off, I was new and had not talked to anyone. I am not a company so I don't have anything to sell, and and also did I mention I was new and that was my first time trying that app? I have tried contacting their "support" and they have not said anything! They better fix their account histories and make sure they aren't mistaking people with others. I'd give this zero stars if I could!

Gaydar used to be a great app... This new version is not at all good. Since I installed in in my iPhone 3GS I cannot see any profiles!!!! What a pity... I will have to abandon all those friends I made thru Gaydar...
